About this webinar:
What is the climate impact of your portfolio?
As investors move to incorporate a greater focus on climate change into their portfolios, there is an increasing requirement to be able to quantify and report on the climate credentials of investments and to what extent they are aligned with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
In this webinar, we explain how we quantify portfolio alignment with the Paris goals, using a combination of historical and forward-looking measures. Having analysed around 2,000 companies globally, our bespoke climate risk and alignment framework, Destination@Risk, has concluded that the majority of companies are not aligned with the Paris objectives, raising concerns that some institutional portfolios may be aligned with temperature outcomes of greater than three degrees. Destination@Risk, analyses portfolios at an overall, sector and company level, enabling LGIM to design and implement ‘Pathways to Paris’, and aiming to help our clients to build climate-aware portfolios for a greener future.
