Webinar Overview
Risk appetite in the pension industry is being heavily reassessed, driven by the pace of digital transformation and the growing complexity and sophistication of fraud threats. Fraud is no longer limited to physical identity fraud or fabricated ID documents, these threats have now expanded into a complex, multi‑layered ecosystem fuelled by automation, artificial intelligence and increasingly sophisticated criminal networks.
Modern threats now include digital account takeover, deepfakes, synthetic identities and AI‑powered impersonation techniques, all of which make detection and prevention more difficult than ever. Yet traditional threats such as first‑party fraud, traditional identity theft and scams continue to persist, adding further pressure to already stretched fraud teams.
Not only this, but the challenge is exacerbated by the need to protect member pension pots against these advancements in fraud, without negatively impacting the online customer experience and benefits of moving digitally. Unnecessary friction, lengthy manual reviews and arduous offline processes can lead to increases in customer complaints and a reduction in retention as frustrations grow.
Join Professional Pensions, LexisNexis® Risk Solutions and WTW for this live webinar as they explore latest global cybercrime trends, key developments in identity risks and the specific vulnerabilities within the pension's customer journey. Attendees will gain practical insight into how schemes can strengthen their defences and stay ahead of rapidly advancing fraud threats without compromising outcomes for genuine, trusted members.
