It has now been just over six months since the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) authorised the first long-term asset funds (LTAFs) – bringing to market a new category of authorised funds as part of the government’s bid to boost investment in private markets and foster long-term economic growth.

Four LTAFs have now gained FCA approval but a lot has changed in the intervening period – with the FCA widening access to LTAFs and the government announcing its Mansion House Reforms over the summer.

This webinar, held in association with Schroders, will take a look at LTAFs six months on – assessing what DC pension scheme reaction has been to the new vehicles and looking at where the market for LTAFs is heading.

It will also look at what has changed since the first funds were authorised earlier this year and discuss the sort of conversations LTAF providers are having with DC schemes.

In addition to this, it will also look at some of the challenges the new funds are facing and take a look at some of the assets the LTAFs are investing in.
